The 990v6, made in the USA, continues that mission with a series of performance-enhancing improvements. The upper eliminates the standard midfoot saddle, allowing suede and synthetic overlays to extend from heel to toe on a mesh lining for a dynamic and streamlined look. The new 990 introduces a number of changes from its predecessor, and the leap forward is most noticeable on the inside. Thanks to the added cushioning of the FuelCell midsole, the 990's evolution is as noticeable as it is felt.
