The designers of the original 990 were on a mission to create the best running shoe on the market. The MADE in USA 990v6 continues that mission with a series of performance improvements. The upper eliminates the standard midfoot saddle, allowing suede and synthetic overlays to extend from heel to toe on a mesh lining for a dynamic, streamlined look. The new 990 introduces a number of changes from its predecessor, and the leap forward is most evident on the inside. Thanks to the added cushioning of the FuelCell midsole, the evolution of the 990 is as noticeable as it is felt.
